1991 Suzuki Samurai build
Re: 1991 Suzuki Samurai build
Ah yes I forgot you ran that set up I just went back and looked at your pics. Would be the easiest option to keep a similar set up. Much easier than fitting them in with SPUA that's for sure.
Re: 1991 Suzuki Samurai build
Rear is now almost done just got to mount shocks and cut down a few pins
I then went to fit the rear prop but the uj's were a bit seized so I decided to modify and fit the toyota hilux prop I had in the garage. Firstly I made an adapter flange for end of the prop Then I machined the prop to remove 145mm from the total length. I then welded it up and painted it. I tried to keep everything perfectly in line so I will fit it and see if its out of balance if it is il get it balanced up

It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Thanks for the comments
Now to sort the shocks. I am going to mount the astra shocks that were on before then replace them with some decent shocks with longer travel. Firstly made an adapter bar for the rear from 8mm stainless plate Then a pair of brackets to mount pin top shocks. I have made these to pivot using a brass thrust washer and again all made from stainless steel

Re: 1991 Suzuki Samurai build
This sould have some pretty impressive articulation with the SPOA setup.
