quick status update. SU is in and running but needs vac advance pipe drilling. got clutch cable refitted but not tested yet, ordered new exhaust from eBay so should arrive this week, snorkel done just needs properly fitting.

quick query though, there are a few water pipes that went to the old carb, I have just plumbed them back into each other, but what are all the smaller pipes that went to the carb, they look like breather pipes, do they just need taking somewhere out the way?

I believe you can remove those pipes from the valves as they are no longer needed.
You will however need to connect the 2 pipes from the manifold together or cap them off.
Hopefully one of the guys can confirm this (if there not all using Rockwatt manifolds ;) )

Those two pipes Darrell mentioned are the flow and return for the auto choke on the standard carb.

Best thing to do is get some more rubber pipe and wrap it around your adaptor using them two pipes as the flow and return to act as a water jacket to help reduce carb icing.

All the other little pipes just need removing and blocking.

The only pipes the SU needs attachting is fuel in and the vac advance.

Sorry Jordi which two do you mean? there is 1 on the left and 2 on the right of the picture? Is it the two on the right I wrap around the jacket and block the left one off?
