Painting is off the cards now as the new front end is to repair, virtual lift and fit.

It's having an identity crisis now.

It's a Samurai. Body work could be off any SJ variant, 1600 vit engine, jimny bits now. And to confuse it even more i'm gonna bang a 410 front end on it!

I was thinking "i have loads of time to sort the niggly bits out". MOT is due July 7th. When i'm away, so i'll have to so it before hand. 4 weeks max to get the little bits done and another MOT.

Easy!

Its garden tomorrow i'm afraid Anton.

I need a good weekend to get it sorted for MOT. Think i may have resolved the brake fluid and power steering fluid leaks.

Bodywork is going to be the issue. I might cheat and get the front clip sand blasted. Then its rust free and saves me a load of time cleaning it up.

That's not cheating, that's prodigious use of time. ;)

It'll save a lot of time as well as being done really properly, so probably no more rust coming back in a hurry, which would be nice for you in the future

Just phoned Adrian Flux to notify them of the new mods. Insurance hasn't changed a penny!

New front clip hasn't been shot blasted.
33s and 15x10s still aren't fitted to each other.
Handbrake is still useless.
Still haven't mixed n' matched a good set of doors.
Still haven't seviced it since i fitted 1.6. (Probably should but i topped the oil up and its not leaking)

Overall i wasted 2 days of my 3 day weekend.

Well done me!

I must have been 24 ish when i insured it with them first time round. Declared all mods and it was about £330 i think. It's only come down to about £270 now.

My KJA is standard and insured with 2Gether for £139 i think.

Both policys are limited mileage. The Samurai is insured for laning and P&P too.

Just a case of ring around bud.
