took it for a little drive today to see how she feal but couldnt get up the road! engine has developed a missfire and dies when under any heavy load?? it will rev up fine when in neatraul tho? smoked a little but no big white plumes. think im gona get compression tester out later and check it over. Also gona check spark. very tempted to rip it out and stick 1.6 in tho

If you havent changed the gearing yet I wouldnt be supprised if it couldnt move with 37s on and a cold engine!

ye put a 410 transfer box on awating full floating axle. then gona get a t-box made up when the banks look a bit happyier! also going vit diffs

Tyres those size i'd be tempted to go pug diesel.

Spluttering and miss fire may just be a poorly set up engine, timing most likely. A good service may sort it.

What carb is it running?

Coughing and spluttering and missing sounds like timing.

Theres always this http://forum.suzukiclubuk.co.uk/vi ... lit,Ignis/ probably not the cheapest or easiest option but certainly power / weight wise it gives massive improvement.

been reading up on a few engine swaps thinikng going g16a purly for easy option see how that perfoms then maybe chop in an ldv lump at a later date
