Another evening welding and me and my mate managed only managed to install x2 plates in the arch, which was a little disappointing. I thought we would have got further. Here's a picture my mate took of me welding, although the pictures not very flattering, I'm going going to blame my 8 year old apprenticeship overalls which appear to have 'shrunk in the wash'

I wish I would shrink in the wash. I've been trying every day for my whole adult life, but so far the most that happens is my fingertips get a bit wrinkly...

A little boring but More photos of the welding
At the front,
Then the first plates at the rear arch
And what's still left to do, drivers rear arch.
I've managed to make a couple of scorch marks, any idea which numbers refer to the paint code on the vin?

changed colour? I really though transformer grey was a original option

It's normally 3 or 4 digits followed by a letter I think.

No updates to welding...... I need to get a move on with it really, but I thought id treat myself,
Pressed steel plates! I'm going to make some backing plates to support them before fitting, dead chuffed!
