Another evening welding and me and my mate managed only managed to install x2 plates in the arch, which was a little disappointing. I thought we would have got further. Here's a picture my mate took of me welding, although the pictures not very flattering, I'm going going to blame my 8 year old apprenticeship overalls which appear to have 'shrunk in the wash'

I wish I would shrink in the wash. I've been trying every day for my whole adult life, but so far the most that happens is my fingertips get a bit wrinkly...
1985 SJ413VX (SJ50V) with SPOA, rear disc brakes, 31x10.5R15 Kaiman Malatesta tyres, an MOT and a lot left to do!

I've managed to make a couple of scorch marks, any idea which numbers refer to the paint code on the vin?

changed colour? I really though transformer grey was a original option :hahaha:

It's normally 3 or 4 digits followed by a letter I think.
