Minor set back with the painting. Went to do the drivers door and found some rust, so thought I would cut it all back to metal to see what was left, got some patching to do!

this looks like a good thread, ive thought about doing a 1.3 swap, how easy was it to get the 413 box in?
wish i could do that good with spraying as id spray my zuk, ive got the same red i think, mine just doesnt look as good cause its rollered, little bubbles in it everywhere :(
would you like to spray mine?
i have 5L of red lol..

413 box just went straight in, same mounts and drive shaft, it was just the hole in the floor needed cutting out a bit to allow the gear stick retaining bolt to be fitted as the gear boxes are different lengths. Was the engine mounts that were the bugger!
Rolling is so much easier and im starting to slightly regret spraying it, 1 door and the bonnet done so far and been on with it for a week, gonna take a while!

If yours is on an 'E' plate then it shouldn't be too bad of a swap. The early 410 (pre 1985) had a different chassis and shell and the holes for the gear levers were quite a bit different.
