It's coming along nicely, I like the way a little bit is getting painted at a time, guess you haven't got enough time or space to do it all in one go.

i would love to do it all in one go but yeah time will not allow and the fact that it's a gaint moblie tool box that i need to use for work so it has to be ready come monday morning

time for an update as it's been a while
painting was going well untill i got ill and then work got busy but have finnaly found some time to do some work
just got rear door left to paint

and then it all started going down hill was on the way into town when at a roundabout it wouldn't go into gear luckaly it was down hill rolled it off the roundabout
after a tow home and some further investigating broken clutch and clutch arm so engine out

whlst the engine was out i replaced the head and other gaskets and gave the engine and gearbox a good clean

so back door painted and refitted, wheel carrier painted red
clutch arm fitted and working clutch bitting point is now really high
fitted new roter arm distributor cap and ht leads and spark plugs
gave her an oil change
now ready for a trip back to the uk on thursday

made it to the uk and back 900 miles clocked i think i need a new a**e as mine has healed over
passed it's mot
only needed a little work
2 spots of welding on the rear wheel arch
a spot of welding on the passenger seat mounts
welding on the exhast
head light aimming in the wrong direction (turns out was due to having a french bulb in it)
horn not working ( a lose wire )
front passenger brakes binding causeing brakes to be inballenced
but apart from that all good

well finally managed to find some time in workshop time today and got a few bits done
changed out my 2" shackles for the standard ones (i now have some 2" tarantula lift shackles for sale)

whilst i had the shackles off i replaced the poly bushes that came out quite easily
whilst i had it over the pit i re-tightened the bolts on the sump, checked diff oil levels greased all the props and u joints
drained and flushed the fuel tank and cleaned the filter

some of the crap that came out off both
reconnected the retaining clip on the t box lever that had popped out whilst off roading a few weeks ago (that was a bit sacrey)
sorted out the ideal speed as it was a bit fast

had some workshop time to day gotta love wet weather (only sometimes)
stripped out the inside seats carpets etc

gave it a good wash out took the bungs out of the front and put a hose pipe in the back
then set about rubbing it all down with wet and dry
