Did a bit today
Cleaned axles degreased best I could the started on the rear axle
Stripped it right out to do the perches and rear disc conversion
Front look like they need swivel seals
Hopefully should have perches made up this week then we shall be well on the way

Debating on changing the 3.7’s to 4.3’s closer to the original 410 diffs especially off roading whilst it’s still a 1.0

Personally I would stick with the 3.7's, sort the axles so they're ready to go in, and when you've got a 1.6 ready to go in, then swap the axles. 4.3's with a 410 t-case is going to be very low for a 1.6 converted SJ.
If you mainly want it for offroad, ignore everything I just said and swap in the 4.3's as soon as humanly possible.

Gearing all depends on the tyre size you plan on running.

That's true, Jordi. I was assuming Marve wasn't planning on upgrading to bigger tyres. Should know better than to ass-u-me things.

Evening guys
I intend on running 31’s
Gonna stick with the 3.7’s
Either gonna make or get a rock lobster I think
I’m slowly going though the axles
Rear diff looks like it needs the pinion seal doing looks like it’s got back on old oil around it so I’m thinking suspect seal ???
Front axles need the swivel seals doing so il have to order them at some point
Should have perches made up soon
Il get them on then it’s time to tart the axles up and rebuild
I was going to throw them on once done with the 1.0 engine
Still on the look out for rear discs conversions had a word with Scot about Muddyzook and he has messaged him to see what his got .
Other than that noting is happening other than I scored a set of 31’s cheap but need to get 2 tyres

For 31's, 3.7's and a 410 t-case is a good combo with a 1.3 engine or above, drives a lot like a stock SJ413. Gearing is close to factory 413 on factory size tyres (iirc it's about 1% different overall).
That's what my current Sammy is kitted out with at the moment. A rocklobster will be much the same, but low ratio will just be better for offroading. But then, if you know what a rocklobster is, you already know that...

Going to run it with the 1.0 for a while if it’s overly bad it will force me to do lobster box or 1.6 conversion sooner

Lobster box won't change high ratio gearing if you replace a 410 tcase, meaning it won't make the vehicle more driveable on the road if you swap in a rocklobster. 1.6 conversion for the win, imo.
