Have you tried finding an Ignis wheel? Mine is from an Ignis Sport and it bolted straight on. Much nicer than standard, a bit smaller and thicker.

I'm using Vitara wheel on my samurai, much more comfy wheel to use and straight fit.

Old Vits and SJ's share a lot of parts...the boss is one. If for some weird reason it doesn't fit (it will) you can always send it back.

I would also go for a steering wheel from another Suzuki model, should cost less than £30 too.
