Some **** smashed mine. Some bloke pulled up with a trailer with a huuuuuuge pole sticking about 8 feet out the back, shortly after that my windscreen was smashed - the point of impact matching up nicely with the pole sticking out of the back of his trailer - and he just drives off.

Thankfully I knew someone weighing in a sammy, so I gave them a fiver for their windscreen. Now I just have to fit it!

Thanks Jordi,

I rang them and got £169.00 plus VAT!

I've already phoned 10+ companies and the best so far is £85.00 plus VAT fitted, I'm in Essex BTW, don't know if that makes a difference?

Thanks anyway.

Never mind guys, I found a local Essex fitter who is charging me £75.00 inc VAT supplied and fitted next day.

If you live in the Essex area may be worth a call and ask for 'Grant' from Discount Windscreens Ltd Free Phone: 0800 252 184

Sorry I missed your reply, no I couldn't find anything suitable in time. I've seen s/h ones in the past with many mini chips and scratches just caused due to the angle of rake I guess?
