Door almost done, Suzuki logo too, not enough time in the day to ever finish anything!

Re: the no dosh Vitara revamp
All finished now, I need to tidy up the pick up area though. Going to leave her this colour at the moment because I quite like it! Still loads more stuff to do...

Re: the no dosh Vitara revamp
Everyone who sees it says it looks great...I have to agree lol.
Still need to finish the virtual lift and cut and weld the other sill so it matches the offside one.
Cobra buckets need recovering and fitting, along with harnesses.
Four (or six) little spot lights will go on top of the roll cage.
Front winch needs to be sourced and plonked on.
Snorkel still needs plumbing in (now getting to priority level!)
Need to find a spare tyre and mount that to the cage.
Wheel spacers to arrive soon...or not. So bigger arches needed.
A few extra dials will be going in, oil pressure, voltage etc.
CB radio to be put in where the air vents are in the middle of the dash (they are useless anyway).
Pick up area needs finishing in ally.
Rear bumper needs to be made up.
Rock sliders likewise.
Radiator fan needs an isolater switch to turn it off when wading.
Rear demist screen needs wiring up.
Maybe a twin battery set up for all the extra electrics.
And some 31" tyres will be coming my way some day so they will go on.
A bit of a list but I should have all this done next weekend...in 2016.
And there's probably a load of other bits I've forgotten

Re: the no dosh Vitara revamp
Have you got room for 31s,or will you be cutting the arches/lifting the wee beastie?

Re: the no dosh Vitara revamp
Said wee beastie is lifted, but only 2". The 29" tyres on her at the moment catch on the arches at maximum articulation, so 31" will need some more chopping. Was going to fit spacers too but that would mean a LOT of chopping so no.

Re: the no dosh Vitara revamp
I would rather cut the arches if I redid my zuk, I like my zuk but I prefer the way the virtual lift trucks look, plus they're probably more stable...

Re: the no dosh Vitara revamp
Some goodies turned up in the post today...6 LED's for the top of the cage and new harnesses. Bucket seats should be here by saturday.
But I had to have a test fit!
