Fibreglass/plastic rear wheel arches

Post by mic » Tue Mar 30, 2010 2:03 pm

seems like one of mine has been poorly bodged at some point, would it pass an MOT if i was to chop it all out and make one out of fibreglass?! i cant weld and it seems to be a more realistic option (and cheaper) that i can just get on with. Anyone else done this??

front or rear arches? you only need to worry about rust if it is within 12" of a seat belt mount or body mount. I know someone who has plastic inner arches on the front of an sj, dont think you would get away with it on the back arches though.
