RHZ Engine Fault Codes

Hello

Does anyone know how to read and interpret fault codes on RHZ engined vits?

The MIL light on mine has been on for a week now, but i havent a clue where to start without a fault code

First step is to buy a fault code reader, or borrow one.
There quite cheap nowadays and more than pay for itself on the first repair as opposed to a garage.

Is there no way to get the codes without?
I know in the RF manual it gives instructions to get the code without the scanner, nothing similar for the RHZ?

Ah well. I see some going for less than £20 on ebay so may as well get one.

OBD2 to the best of my knowledge...
Says on mine 1996 and newer OBD2 & CAN, fits my "GV 1600" 2005
