Battery Impact Guns

So what does everyone use? Best ones in the market looking at the higher end of the market looking and half inch drive ones.

Fantastic! The batteries are so much better than the old makitas we had with nihm batteries,
And ( I know this is anal) it has a much better vibration rating compared to others, they are really keen on HAVs at work, so we got these along with makita hand drills which take the same battery,

Yeah for drills i use makita and never half failed at all so that temps me for a impact gun by them i use dewalt aswell tbh

i bought a black and decker multi evo which was the same hand held battery bit but with interchangable heads. i had a drill, 1/4" impact driver, jigsaw and sander. The impact driver was perfect for me, most bolts had to be loosened by hand first, and tightened afterwards, but it got bolts tight enough without wrenching the threads to bits. Thats the biggest problem with these big buggers, they will tighten up and just keep on going and knacker everything up.

Most people I know use snap on impact guns. Jamie's got a really nice one.

Got a 3/8th and 1/4" snap on, can't fault them.

If the Milwaukee ones are anything like there other tools then they are a good bet as well, got a Milwaukee angle grinder that has lasted my abuse for early 2 years now, I normally kill grinders in a few months

Iv got the small Makita one it great for general stuff and is small enough to get into very tight spots. It does struggle on really tight stuff though especially wheel nuts I have to loosen them with a wheel brace first . They do a big one as well that has twice as much torque as the small one. I might get that one as well at some point as they take the same batteries.

to be honest, the only thing I really need an impact gun for is big stubborn stuff like diff and transfer case flange nuts... also for undoing flywheel bolts
never really had the need for a smaller impact gun myself

Hmmm so good reviews for all depending what you going to use it for thing going to look the specs of a few of them and narrow it down.
