OUCH! I hope his insurance is paying for all that...dick.
If it ticks over...leave it

Currently going through at the moment. Not ideal though. Caused me a pain in my arsehole! The van was kitted out exactly how I wanted, and I have a feeling they are going to Cat-B it.

Doesn't look all that bad from the picture! Cat C/D is a blessing in disguise, while you have to get a new car you might get money off his insurer and get the van back for peanuts

That rear wheel looks well mangled, almost like the axle is broken. Sucks matey, hope it all gets sorted and soon.

Is it a beam axle? Shouldn't be toooooo expensive to get hold of one there are a lot of transits about!
My mates got a similar model and we've never had problems getting bits for it

Oh I can fix it for peanuts (Apart from the paint work).
Rear beam is snapped/bent, one of the leafs have a twist in it, and the brake assy on that side is also smashed.
It's plenty enough to write the van off as a Cat-C. it'll never go Cat-D in a million years. Cat-B is more likely though I think as it's an old van, soon to be non-LEZ-Compliant.
My CBR400 NC29 was cat-B about 6 years ago, just because the frame had road-rash on it. I am sure they're targeted to get older vehicles off the road. :(
As for the SJ. I pulled the water pump off last night, bought a new one today from local motor factors, surprise surprise, it's wrong! But gasket was the same, so just pinched the gasket out of the box, and will return the pump tomorrow.
All boxed up, road tested. Seems okay. Muddy time on Saturday I think. Feeling East-Sussex.
Also, next plan for the truck is bigger tyres, and Sammi axles. I already have a rear, that has been modified to fit the 410 (Spring seats moved etc). So will be after a front at some point, to do the same mod to. Wide wide wide.

Whereabouts you from I can't remember? Some wicked lanes up near petersfield in hampshire
I might have to join you if I can get some funding for fuel haha
What size are the current tyres?

We're in Sittingbourne, Kent. About 4 miles north of the infamous Pilgrims Way. But it's getting quite boring now going up and down the same lane.
I've heard Frog Hole Lane is good? No idea how to even begin finding it though.

And current tyre size is 215/80-15.
I'd like to go up to the same size as I had on my Feroza, which was 235/75-15. Slightly wider, and slightly taller. But that small jump from approx 28" to 30" makes the tread so much more aggressive as it's scaled up.
