Roll cage help?

Post by welshsj » Tue Mar 16, 2010 9:56 am

Has anyone got any drawings/plans for a roll cage?? I am a welder by trade but never done a cage before, I have got a hydraulic pipe bender and access to workshop. I would be willing to help produce other cages in exchange for some help?

cheers matt

matt my head it a transiant of cage design.

what sort of thing are you looking for.
(2 point.4 point,6 point.)

the thing that is stopping me doing more at the mo is getting good steel.

the majority of tube at the mo is crappy forign stuff.
dont be tempted to use scaffold tube (to heavy.to much galv.not really made to bend).
.
do you want it like henry's (to run down to the sills)
do yuo want it like mine (staying in the lines of the truck)

tony :P
