well just sorted my insurance out on the vitara and i noticed a couple of things where wrong/different, for some reason it kept coming up saying soft top and ive seen a couple of others have had the same problem but sorted that out easy but the other thing i came across was that its £40 cheaper to say its on my drive at night then in my locked garage.... has anyone else noticed this

i would of put money on the locked garage being cheaper lol

I always put mine as locked garage, never actually checked to see if the driveway is cheaper!!!
I think that the insurance is exactly the same for HT and ST versions.... it is for the Samurai/SJ at any rate

Well at 1st I put the garage as I'm away with work a lot so was going to put it in there when I go but for some reason I just checked what the difference was and it came back cheaper so I went with that £40 in my pocket is better than in there's lol

I go for drive over garage now - only bikes are worth garaging!

Two possible reasons - people garage expensive cars, therefore more likely to be targeted as part of a burglary, more cases push the price up.

And fire risk is greater in a garage, less likely to be noticed and more likely to burn to a crisp with the building and everything in it.

What happens when if they break into your garage and nick it? If it's not left on the driveway....hmm.

My bike is always in a locked garage! So is the Vit.
