tbh I think that most people who do it are either in the US and not subject to our SVA tests, or are used for off road only

thanks men,a lot to consider. leaning now with scottie and changing the leaf set up. how much ride height would i lose by taking a leaf out do you think and would i need extra kit to fit yj or hilux springs?

How much height you'll loose by removing a lead depends on the springs...you might not loose any??

You can buy kits or make your own for YJ springs (I made my own) and you'll probably need to make your own kit for lux springs but it's not too hard.

I'm going to get to work designing a bolt on RUF conversion for samurai's soon, got a few jobs to quickly get out of the way first though.

hi scottie. going to follow your advice and go yj on rear and ruf.regarding ruf,what is actually gained as my front and rears look the same apart that ridiculous flat lower leaf on the rear.do i take that leaf out and do you have any drawings for the yj hangers? cheers.
