you dont need a speedo really... its horribly inaccurate at the best of times so I always use my phone ;)

I've got a really old gatso detector with gps that I use as a speedo, it's a tiny unit that is just velcro'd to the top of my dash as my steering wheel blocks 30-60mph on the dials anyway.

My speedo is around 10mph out at 40+mph :lol:

Which won't comply with the RTA requirements.

Fortunately when they do the MOT test the previous odo readings only pop up at the end when they print the cert out haha ;)

Just been going through this thread again. Very impressive, all of it. One thing though Scottie how did you route the wiring from your 'NOS style' horn button?

Cheers matey! That must have taken you a while :lol:

Just ran the horn wire to the switch and then another wire off the switch, earthed on one of the steering wheel mounting bolts.
