Wobbly gear stick
Wobbly gear stick
Got a samurai gear stick and gears seem all over the place still drives ok but selecting gears bit iffy any help wood be good
Re: Wobbly gear stick
The machined end has probably snapped off the little locating bolt on the gearbox.
Take the gator off and Just where the lever enters the gearbox there is a 12mm bolt on the back, remove that and try to fish the machined end out. Sometimes has a bit of thread left so on need to try and twist it out....if you can't get it out that way you can remove the lever but be careful to not let the broken bit fall into the gearbox.
Replacement bolts are cheap from Suzuki or you can get the end of a bolt machined down.
