Ha ha, makes me laugh too. Not quite sure which peas though?
Guess it all depends on the meal and how posh the restaurant is.

Re: the no dosh Vitara revamp
New boots are on! Measured them up and they are 30", just very fat! Took all of 75 minutes from start to finish, but on maximum flex they are rubbing a little so some more trimming is required. Oh, and that one rust spot needs welding up. Sorry for the late post but some friends took me out for birthday dinner. I am stuffed.

Looking great! The tyres fill the arches nicely! Not still going with orange for the wheels?

Re: the no dosh Vitara revamp
Not on this car, the wheels are gun metal grey and that's how they are staying, body will be grey or black. Got out all the little rusty bolts on the sillls and killed any rust spots. I'm going to fibre glass over the holes and then smooth it out with a little bit of filler. When I get the bike on two wheels and out of the garage I'll respray the whole car.

Re: the no dosh Vitara revamp
And that's exactly what I did today, in 30c. Not a lot of fun but rain is due and I don't want it filling up my sills!
Some dinky bits of fibreglass, sanded down then filled...you get the idea. I'm very happy with the result. Kind of preferring the satin black look now!

So...Deep Purple?
Nobody's gonna take my car
Gonna raze it to the ground
Nobody's gonna beat my car
Gonna break the speed of sound
Ohh she's a killer machine
She's got everything
Big fat tyres and EVERYTHING!
That kind of Purple?
