Weber pancake filter

Post by Corrado vr6 » Sun Jun 22, 2014 12:21 am

Hi there, I believe my sj413 1992 has a weber carb according from doing a search on here, I'm after to loose the standard air box as it won't fit in my project, so looking for a pancake filter, can anyone recommend a good one?

Cheers Greg

People do use pancake filters but you loose a few options if you do. For example you can run a snorkle from your standard airbox, also Suzukis come with a hot air feed which takes air from around your exhaust manifold the plastic lever/ wing nut on the filter box lets you use this so you don't get carb icing in winter,

Personally mate I would do as tramp says... get one of the standard plenum chambers for the weber and hook it into the standard airbox like so:
