what idiot would book his mot for Friday the 13th can,t believe it lol, well took the blitz to mot it passed after 45mins on the ramp, the mot tester said I cant give you a certificate because we think this vehicle needs a SVA so I have to back to the mot center and see the manager to get his discision on wether it needs a SVA or not w****rs

Arseholes. It doesn't. It's a different body on a Vit chassis. It's a Vit.

To be fair to the MOT center it doesn't look like a Vit and if the guy wasn't sure then the correct response must be to refer it upwards. Its inconvenient maybe but if you have a radically altered vehicle then it has to be expected occasionally. Its good to see that they are at least considering whether or not SVA is required, there seem to be a lot of dodgy vehicles about.

Just refer him to the 8 point system.
He'll soon see that everything apart from the body is original and totals up to a lot more than 8 points

Has the chassis been modified? a number of them have had the chassis outriggers replaced with box section to get MSA approval. If that has been done then it may well need an SVA, unless it can be passed off as a 'repair'.

no the outriggers are unmodified the kit is bolted to the body mounts, spoke to nick from ncf blitz today he said when I speak to the mot center manager on Monday he is willing to talk to the manager on my behalf, thank you nick
