if it runs sweet as, and your gearing feels right, why not?
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Those exhaust headsets look sexual keep it!!! Twin webbers would be cool, just to balance out the look of the engine bay obviously. ;)
Built with ebay!!!

There ain't gonna be enough power from a 1.6 crossflow to break the tbox  Not even a highly tuned one

ive had a 1.6 in mine for years and not had any problems...
although i did snap 2 of the rubber mounts doing a burnout ;)

You might consider upgrading the mounts to polyurethane ones as they are stronger than the standard rubber ones... but you'll probably be fine!
I think a standard 1.6 crossflow is only about 65hp anyway so its a bit of a mystery why they put it in there and left it standard!

Whoever told you that doesn't have a clue what he's on about  The most common conversions are suzuki 1.6 engines and diesels, plus there are quite a few guys who have fitted Vauxhall redtops. All of which are more powerful than a 1.6 crossflow.

I can guarantee I can put well over twice the torque through my sj tcase with the 1.6 8V and twin transfer box conversion and it's fine.

you can find the mounts for sale on llama 4x4

http://www.llama4x4.com/page5.htm

personally i would go for the bolt through mounts not the heavy duty ones...
the heavy duty ones are a bit big to fit in the t-box supporting arms so you either have to flatten the arm or trim the mount.

with the bolt through ones even if the rubbers are shot theres still a bolt holding it!
don't just bolt it straight on with no rubber though - lots of vibration!

... and use either washers provided in a kit or the biggest washers you can find... it will stop the bolt ripping its way through the mount!
(seen it a couple of times!)

Tim Pink has a redtop in his racer now... not sure if there are any pics of it though!
