Glad you found the fault but I would add just for accuracy, carb icing is more related to moisture in the atmosphere rather than cold temperatures. When it's frosty with a clear blue sky, or even a clear starry night, you are less likely to get carb icing than when it's say 8 deg C and raining.
I could say a lot more on this but it's not appropriate.
