hmm sounds like a plan mike, have you thought about running a split charge rather than another alternator?
I cant remember who's it was but on Difflock there was a chap who made a "spider web" and spider on the top of his cage, it looked pretty mad max but it was ubber cool.

Yeh probably how Richard done dunks. It was mental.
Twin alternators is better for winch trucks. Hanging to separate charging systems is how most challenge trucks are done. The draw on my 8274 is so large I have to rev my sj whilst winching. Two alternators I won't need to.

He's not been on for Difflock for years..

hmm yeah similar to that Darrel but the hole roof had the web going over it think it was made from 3mm rod and you could stand on it...
