SJ with no name.......(Minibreakers beastie)

Post by waynesworld » Mon Nov 11, 2013 4:31 pm

Sat here fed up so i thought i would stick a few pics on of Neils (minibreaker ) SJ that he has not long had, we started working on it the other week, upto know i have made the cill sliders and bumpers, but i gave Neil the pleasure of drilling out for the, dare i say, defender lights. So the first time this will need a tinkering is when the lights dont work.

nice work. have you thought about recessing the lights into the bumper? as they look a little prone to rip of there.

Nice work ye I would weld a bit of 50mm box section on.the ends by.the lights so if u do reverse into a wall it will hit the 50 mm box section before it hits the lights

If I ever redo my arches, I think I'm going to copy you!

Well its my work as he like my old one lol, i thought he would be on here tonight. He wanted to inset the lights but i think these bumpers are just for now to get through the MOT or something. light guards are easy enuf, he is looking for some or we can make some if he gets excited as soon as its done.

Lots to do yet.

as wolly says he has done most of the work(and greatfull i am ). his skills are second to none and the the arches are his doing and look really well. lights will prob be recessed at some point but i am just trying to get it thru its mot at the moment. it will have the bare minimum done for now but their is a huge list of mods to be getting on with once its driving.
its defo coming together now tho cos i have painted some of it green lol

Had a look at what needs doing today kida, dont think theres that much now really, aslong as i stop winging lol. need to get your wheels on to see how far to cut back the archs, will look even better aswell when its sits wider.
