trotters sammy... updated finally
Re: trotters sammy... the never ending project...
Well lets see what happens with this 410 but I should have space free for an sj over the next few months so anytime really!
how wide are your alloys? I presume your tyres are 10.5" wide? If so I wouldn't run wheels that are wider than 8" otherwise you'll always be getting crap in the bead!

Re: trotters sammy... the never ending project...
well its been quite a while since i've bothered to get the spanners out. Only managed a few bits for about hour and a half today before it poured with rain but its a start at least
I got the vitara water rail fitted, as i couldnt use the sj one because the bolt holding it on snapped off in the engine block. Also had to do a bit of a cut and shut on the pipework from the bulkhead - water rail, as i didnt have a pipe long enough so i cut 2 down and made a copper insert at work to fit inside the joining pipes, hopefully with 2 jubilee clips it should hold fine.
the never ending list of things left to do are:
Fit
new alternator
jimny ps box
vit ps pump and res + pipes
Then fingers crossed the engine works ok. Then it will be off for mot
At some point, hopefully in the near future it will benefit from a virtual lift, box section sills (possibly haven't decided yet), YJ springs, Low Range Offroad YJ conversion kit, wheels and tyres fitted, winch bumper fitted, winch fitted, bucket seats fitted, possible rocklobster ( will see how 410 t box copes )
still it will be finished one day
