virtual lift help :)
virtual lift help :)
hi guys all going good with the vl
i didnt make new inner arches due to the cage flush against the door screw bolts so i modified the existing inner wing by slicing each corner and bended it up to meet the new 5"sheet i bent to create mud flaps
its worked out pretty good
i cut loads out of the bulk head to follow the top lip so naw im confuse how the throttle peddle would go back?
the rear i welded up complete new arches all went good looks proper job
might raise the rear flloor and to lift the tank a few inches but what do i do with the filler neck as the chassie would be in the way?i like the tank underneath dont like the idea of being upside down with petrol tipping over me lol
so two things i need some advise with guys...throttle and tank

internal tanks i fine if there built to a good leak free standard. mine is custom made and inclosed behind me and feels fine. but i guess its personal choice really.

How much did you cut out? I think i went as close as i could to the throttle pedal without cutting the fixings off. Still had to do a bit of messing around to get it back on.

Re: virtual lift help :)
I did similar to Ferris and left the little bit with the throttle pedal on intact and cut a few little triangle bits to male Tue new plate step out to it.
If you have already removed it I guess you could fit the pedal assembly back on at an angle and bend the arm to suit.

I only had to remove the pedal stop, it now just hits the floor.
I didn't cut out the captive nuts to mount the pedal or have to modify the pedal.
Can you post a pic?
