Vitara JLX seating

I know most mods in here relate to lightning the load and removing seats but is anyone aware of a bench seat modification for a 95 JLX to allow 5 seats?

I'm not sure if there is really space in the back of a vitara for a 3 people is there? it's tight with 2 people

Its near impossible to have 2 normal sized people the back of the vitara, and don't even ask about legroom!

Thinking more of 1 adult & 2 kids really but just curious.

Thing is you would also then need to change the seating to 5 on the v5, and insurance, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't let you as it was only designed for 4 people.

Grand vitara's have 3 seats in the back.

As Scott said about changing the v5 and I would of thought if you was to put a 5th seat in the vehicle mighy need to be checked over also they probably would say about you need to add more strengh to the floor and seatbelt points also the vehicle weight might change.
