Right then dorset/wilts laning trip!
Re: Right then dorset/wilts laning trip!
I'm up for that! The only problem I can see if my beast will only do 45mph so it might be a bit of a slow one behind me and I think most people will be coming from the other direction but if any passes me I'm up for that! I'm in blandford just by the top industrial estate!

I was going to suggest the same thing. I'll have a look at the map when I get home. Not sure where Blandford is off the top of my head. Scottie, you got any preferences for the route?ScottieJ wrote:shall we head down and back in convoy?NylonAdmiral wrote:Scott's a friend of mine and lives down the road. Or thinking about it, maybe he can tow me home

Blandford is past the meeting point from us.
Somewhere on the a350 south of melksham would probably be a good meeting point for us?

Fair play I will just see you guys at the air field I think! If you hear some thing loud with lots of traffic behind it it's probably me lol!

I am based near devizes just down from NylonAdmiral (he is the reason I have gone an bought one). The lad I am buying it off, who might be a member on here, he uses the truck every day and has done some off roading in it. I will get out in it tonight and try to get out Saturday as well.Rodden87 wrote:Hello Scott should be fine mate its my first outing with SCUK to! Have you got any off road experience might be worth getting to know your truck a bit before starting any adventures? Where a puts you based? Andy
I know the way to the airfield been there a few times on bikes and in the caterham for meets! If scottie is coming from corsham the best place to meet prob is westbury garage (it has changed to an esso now I think) then we just head out to the bypass and down towards blanford.NylonAdmiral wrote:I was going to suggest the same thing. Yeah I've been out that way in the Exige, but never offroad. I normally go a different way though. Isn't zig-zag hill near there?
LOL, one trip out in mine and Scott decided to buy one! Let me know when you pick the truck up mate, assuming you have it for Sunday, pop round to mine then we can head over to Westbury and pick up Scottie.

@Suzukisteve, no worries. You only need passengers for opening & closing gates anyway
