This is my mate Andy's VW beetle...it's in my garage at the mo having the interior of the pick up painted, will post more pics when it's all done.

I dunno, i have a pretty vivid imagination at times.

Looks like a cool project though.

Yep, this might be a nice project. He's spent about 2.5k on it already (including buying it) it needed new brakes and other bits but it passed the MOT last week (free tax woo). Today it got a refurbed gearbox..that was fun fitting it! It's off to a classic car show and if it fails to sell there I get to keep it for a month or two and, in his words, 'let my imagination run riot'. Could be interesting... :hahaha:

It's not my car but I do have a soft spot for old VW's, I had a fastback many years ago, slammed to the floor, was pretty funky lol!

Needs the roof chopping a couple of inchs, that would look wicked.
