Just noise from the starter. Spining around mate. Fly wheel looks fine in my own opinion so does the starter motor teeth

So why isnt it engaging. You have had the solenoid actuating and shaft turning at the same time on the bench?!?!

how are you bench testing it? Are you using the trigger connection or just bridging the terminals?

Yep I have had it work all as it should Dan. And using the little spade terminal scott with a smaller peice of wire aswell as jump leads.

This is how im bench testing it... well garden tabling it... brown wire from s post up to positive side of the battery

I gave you a new thread Tom, well this starter motor issue is now 5 pages long :lol:

So when it's fitted is the starter motor just spinning and not firing the solenoid to engage the teeth?

not just clicking and not spinning?

I wonder if its a problem with the bendix gear?

it sounds like the bendix gear isnt sliding out as it should whilst bolted in... but it does when im bench testing it...

give me five and i will try and sort out some videos :er:
