Re: My new build
Hi and welcome to SCUK
Yes this is the correct section for a Jimny build.
Would love to see some photos. What are your plans for it?

Re: My new build
I also have a new Jimny. Would be great to hear what you are going to do. Might give me some ideas.
Are you going to make it an animal or a pavement princess?

Okay! So here we go! First things first, means suspension lift 40mm, body lift 50mm. All mounted and done in the house. (we fill 43TX oil in shocks!) So they dont overheat. Valving I order from Ohlins or maybe TEIN.
Soon will post our new wheel spacer! 60mm! Means 12 CM wider track!

Re: My new build
And here is wheel spacers. Made of AL 7075T6, available in various colors!
(And pay attanetion on those loooong lug nuts!) They are lightweight, very strong, easy-to use in deep mud! They come in 11 different colors! (My favour one is Brown Titanium!)
Also thread protection caps are available too! Protect your wheel studs from dust, mud and all other heavy stuff that enters into your lug nuts!

Re: My new build
This looks like it's going to be a fun build to watch.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Re: My new build
Hmmm, 60mm spacers. Thats a big old spacer. Are you not concerned about the stress on the original wheel studs or the bearings?
Sounds like you have some pretty serious plans for it.

Re: My new build
As for OEM studs, i did make new once. As for bearings, have already 2 sets of spare once!
But honestly, when arrive my tires, then will decide which road to go. Now these days puting much higher lift, my guys finished new shocks, so soon will lift higher. When I do my brakes lines (For over 2 inch needed brakes lines!) then will install it. Body is cool to lift wihout touching like 50mm. Now will see what is needed to lift 150mm! (Its around almost 6 inch) Just a bit worried about that could roll over in some situation? Anyone ever rolled over one Jimny?
P.S. You must forgive me for my English.
