Looking good Dan, whats next?

Sides? Are you going full timber or a dwarf wall?

Cheers

Going full timber with the DPM tucked over the top of the bottom timber.

Need to finalise plans and order timber. There's a big heap of soil, wood, and rubble to get rid of first!

So the plan is to wrap the base timber in the DPM, captive bolt it into the base?

Or are you drilling the base and putting studs in it?

Small sleeve anchors or big screws to attach the bottom wood to the base then fold the DPM over the top of that and screw another on top to trap it. That way the cladding on the outside will go down past the DPM and fingers crossed no damp.

Just sat here doing the mammoth amount of maths required to figure out exactly what's required and how much.

So far I've figured I need £178 of timber just for the frame of the walls.

Get the frame up and check the piggy bank. I'll buy your ARB if you need extra cash.

I'm good for shed money. Got a £670 tax rebate on Tuesday. looks like its all gone on this now though.

Once I have a full accurate list I will go try a local timber yard.

That cladding figure is only the front and the 2 short sides. I am going to do the 2 rear diagonals that cant be seen in WBP Ply (Which also isn't cheap!!!!)
