Bought from the bay been standing since 98. 85k on the clock quite a bit of history. A mate trailered it back from Weston. Put it in for a mot and it failed on excessively corroded brake lines , excessive corrosion within 30cm of a seat point anchor and a wobbly mirror. Out with the welder, on with some new lines and a strip and clean oc the mirror and it passex its mot.
Took it on its maiden journey to Exeter and back (80 mile round trip) on Friday no problems.
Today loaded kayaks then off to the beach. The. This evening took it off road up a green lane 2 wheel drive the first time , then again in 4 wheel drive ( much better)
second pic is at the top where its all nice and level as opposed to steep, rutted, bumpy and fun. Needs some improvements. Both times at about the same point it died. Just like it ran out of fuel ? Also it doesn't like to restart when hot.
Needs softer longer suspension
Needs lower gearing
Needs more torque/ power bigger engine.
Have been looking on Rocky road outfitters website usa. Some really cool stuff
