:argh: today went half well half terribly shit wrong!

The new engine is in and running but the water pump has decided that it no longer wants to hold water and is pissing it out (was fine when it was in my dads 410 about a year ago) and to top it all off we don't think the inlet manifold has fully sealed, I was a bit suspect about its condition after removing it from the old engine but I thought it'll be fine as it sealed on the old engine, how wrong could I be! think its leaking water into the cylinders as its pissing out white smoke yet there's no evidence of water in the oil and vice versa :bawling:

Oh well I'm off to my cousins wedding tomorrow so will get back in the workshop on Sunday to fit another water pump and inlet manifold then hope that the problem is solved.

gutted!

That sucks! Nothing worse than getting everything back together only to find somethings not as it should be :(

Scott, slightly off subject here, but I really like the colour of karis' 410. I mean really like it, to the point of wanting to do mine the same when the last bit of welding is done... but I dont wanna take the piss as karis' one its a bit of a one off.
