ARB vs KAM vs Lockrite
3 different types, 3 different prices.
Possibly a future mod. Who has experience with what for ease of fitment, reliability and effectiveness in use?

Re: ARB vs KAM vs Lockrite
I have no experience either.
I have had a browse of the web.
Lockrite under £250
KAM approx £550
ARB appox £850
Lockrite works as a LSD?
KAM is electric solenoid selectable
And we all know what ARB is.

Re: ARB vs KAM vs Lockrite
There is no question arb are the best, they always have been always will be.
But there £900 per diff.
Lock rites are £150 per diff, and if you can st to grips with driving on them there great, look at the vids of mine.
Kam lockers are well, shocking. A very good mate of mine got 10 people all with sjs to buy kam lockers, they have all since sold them. The shafts break, see Paul's Facebook page !! Not to mention the fact you have to drive from my house to Scotland and most of the way back for them to engage and dis engage !!

I couldn't agree more it's a very ambiguous statement.Ladaman wrote:Come on Mike, don't sit on the fence, do you like KAM lockers?mike harris wrote:I would rather shit on my hands and clap than own a kam locker.
I've seen one of your vids the other day mike. Was pretty impressed it just crawled up. My concern would be running it as a daily drive and doing lots of miles on it. Like driving from mine to wiltshire. If i get the hammer down is it gonna lock up on the tarmac?
