SJ 410 tin top rear seat belts

My SJ has rear bench seat and no belts but looks like all bolt holes are there up rear sides and behind seat.
could someone please put up some pics of 3 point rear seat belts and mounting points with inertia reel to give me idea of how it mounts and if I've got all bolt holes needed. Have got 2 young kids and need to fix child seats in.

Would be great if anyone knows of where to buy or has got a good set for sale as would be interested.

Also what do the horizontal bars that cross rear windows from front door post to rear quarter do ?

Unfortunately sjs don't have 3 point seat belts in the back seats, they only have a lap belt (no inertia reel just fixed), I'd tale some photos of mine, but mine has seperate folding seats & I don't know if its the same configuration

As Tramp says there only lap belts in the back.However you could get a "kiddy saver" roll bar and make something up but then it wont be original... and the rear bars that go over the rear windows arent structual they dont do much.

I was going to ask the exact same question! I have two young uns and a tin top with bench seat and was wondering about rear 3 point belts. There are definately bolt holes up the rear corners for belts and to me they look like a pair of front inertia belts will fit straight on. Will let you know!

As above. My Samurai and SJ both had 3 point belts in the back.

thanks for pics windsor, any chance of a few pics of the two floor mounting points setup, there are the two central ones on floor middle of back door , there must be two other fixing points somewhere.

interesting, never heard of a 3 point rear belt either.
could be aftermarket?
or difference between spanish and jap?
or difference in year of production?

Just had a look in my 1986 jap built user manual, talks about optional 3 point non retractor ( non inertia ) rear seat belts. So was an option that not many took up in 1986. To me looks like on mine should be able to fit inertia reel belts at back just need to see pics of the two floor mounting points and style.
