Propper tidy work Mike.
Bet you can't wait to get out in it again. Sounds like you've spent some serious cash recently.

Cheers lads
Yeh it's getting there, been busy trying to earn money to pump into it. Every pound I earn has gone into it the last few weeks !! But I am sure it will be worth it in the end. This will be the only modding I do for a while, it's just costing so much now. If it breaks again il have to either re think totally or put it away for a while and come back to it.
But hopefully it will work this time for a bit longer
Few more night on it after work and I think il be nearly there with it. It needs a proper clean which I hate doing !! But it's minging from the photo shoot at slindon.

Thats the problem when you get so specialist i suppose, as and when things do break it costs a helluva lot to replace them again.
Looking at those build photos it's not gonna break. May as well be made of girders and granite now.

Re: Mikes Samurai build updated 17/05/13 :)
I have a gwyn lewis winch troff to use, I won't cut the grill or slam panel so it's going to stick out quite a bit, but my plan is to literally cut the troff into the existing bumper. Then build in recovery points at the same time, at the moment the bumper is bolted on at 8 points all m10. I am also going to seam weld the bumper to the chassis, hence why I want it to look good as its going to be on there for a while !! I am going to truss the bumper as well behind each side of it, I don't think it's that strong as is personally. I want to do and and make it look neat, and differant. Most 8274 on Sjs look stupid as there so big. I want it to sort of blend in and still be useable

two wheels done and on now, il put some pics up of a front one, they look cool
half door is on too, ready for slab common in two weeks time. I am hoping to get the new winch fitted but I am not 100%, my m8000 seems to be dead, not sure what's wrong with that. locked up solid.
