rear bench seat in utility vans sj410

when i first got our sj410 santana van the seats were just slung in the van not fixed. when i rang to get insurance and told them there was a rear bench seat my insurance company said that i must not put the rear seat in as i wouldnt be insured as suzuki santana sj410 vans didnt come with a rear bench seat. please, does anyone know if this is a true fact as i would like to put one in it. the actual name of the suzuki is a utility van and not just van . thankyou

if you fit the seats you will need to change the V5 to say that there are 4 seats and then insure it as a 4 seater.

what scott said,, you might even have to put windows in.. if it a van?. you could ring them and say it was a opptional extra, like the astra and escort van. also volkswagen vans and merc vans you can have rear seats..
