I bought that set recently! Didn't need it (I already had at least one of everything in there), but having everything in a nice, handy case like that makes working on the truck easier. Less to take in and out of the house.
And having a specific place to put everything back means I don't end up hunting around at the end of the day trying to make sure I've got everything, and it's all put away. As soon as I'm done with a tool, it goes back in the case, nice and safe.
Now I want a full set of their ratchet spanners...
Edit: I believe their tools used to be made by Snap-on, but are now manufactured by sykes-pickavant. Don't hold me to that, but I've never had a quality issue with Halfords stuff - most of the tools I buy are Halfords tools.

I once killed the internals of one of their 3/8 ratchets, but I probably shouldn't have been using it as a breaker bar...

Two things: First, get a breaker bar and some decent sockets. Second, 9.5 stone is very heavy????
Holy crap kid, I think my feet weigh more than that!
