while at compton bassett i hit a mud run a bit quick and the snorkle was not sealed properly i reakon i took a load of sandy water through the su and have damaged the piston rings dose anyone know if wynns smoke stop works it smokes more than me at the mo

yeah i have still got the sj but i foolishly said my missus can have it :lol: is it a 410 you've got? if so i have a spare bottom end you can have for a good price! also got some valve stem oil seals as they could be why its smoking!

if its a 413 i think i have valve stem seals somewhere. might be worth a try b4 doing anything bigger

cheers all it does not do it when its cold only when its hot thats why i reakon it is the rings i have a couple of spare engines but dont want to go down that route until it dies its only a off roader not my daily drive (well you will see how rough it is at the weekender) all i really want is a quick fix
