headlights staying on when everything is switched off

:rhinohump: hi lads my headlights were staying on when they werent even switched on and the keys were out the car .i spoke to one of my mates and he told me to unplug the dim dip relay next to the fuse box .thats solved the problem there off now .will i need to replace the dim dip relay for a mot or does it not matter .and will the relay affect anything else if i leave it unpluged .any help will be much apreciated

Na just leave it unplugged.

Dim dip relay is only there for spanish regulations... apparently they have to have their headlights on dim along with the sidelight

Seems to be a lot of electrical gremlins recently. Mine has just dissappeared since i swapped the transfer box, thats not even connected to the lights in anyway.
