Has anyone come accross this.
Gone to put rear springs on front and 1 corner was 4 inches lower after fitted.
Removed spring and put them next to each othet upside down and 1 was about 1 inch lower, I guessed it wsd just a tired spring so bought snouther set from a m8 and 1 is also a inch lower.
Not sure if I have 2 bad sets or 1 is ment to be lower?
Any ideas welcome

Re: rears up front issue
From what I can see in the picture is it the 2 with the different helper springs that are both lower? If so I guess that both trucks have had miss matched sprigs at some point.

Re: rears up front issue
I'm going to hazard a guess that the one with less lift was from drivers side? Alot of SJ's get a leaning on drivers side it seems.
Re: rears up front issue
Pit the more arched one on the drivers side and it should balance out eventually
Re: rears up front issue
If I put the more arched on drivers side then surely this time it will lean to the nearside? Should I use the two most arched even if they have different length helper springs?
Re: rears up front issue
My theory is that you always have a drive in the vehicle when in use but not always a pssenger so the extra weight on the driver side should help level the suspension, this is why a lot of SJs lean to the driver side as there is more weight on this side, the battery is also on this side and the fuel tank is offset to the o/s
I had a driver side lean on my SJ with the YJs, I swapped the front springs from side to side and it sorted it out.
