Well ive been feeling sorry for my little suzuki sitting all tucked away in the back of the garage feeling very neglected. So having problems with my starter motor i tracked down another one localy and fitted it and went to fire it up and bugger all!(had dash lights though) me being me i forgot its got no bloody petrol in it! so nip up the garage get a gallon and two and pumped it through cranking over fine but wouldnt burst into life so i know it wasnt the best idea in the world but a i bit of easy start and she is alive! and now is on the button again all ready for the end of the month! :smokin:

Just an excuse for a picture its hard to tell but old and new motors :)

Nice to see something going on here.

When my died in that puddle the other day everything was ok it just got very wet. Needed extra fuel to get it going.

My solution - take the fuel in pipe off the carb and squirt fuel in the air intake! Not usually a good idea but worked for me.

Yeah I forgot what its like to work on a little suzuki! Makes a change :) my fuel/carb is set up pretty much perfect I reckon! Never had anyproblems with it and I dont have a choke cable so either my auto choke works or it dont need it :) possibly more mods to do end of the year :brows:
