Lets get the ball rolling !!

Post by OllieSJ » Fri Apr 19, 2013 7:11 pm

Here is my Suzuki sj413 nice little anus. Previous owner did some work to it before passing it on to me. I have decided to do this mainly down to jordi , Scottie and the others giving me a kick to get it going so here goes.

First day ever buying anything expensive to do with cars was the clutch, spoke to Mr Dean he showed me a nice one on flee bay on up side if its crap is that i will have to change it again and get the experience. This isnt the best time to be starting a build as got exams just round the corner but you only live once.

few facts about her :

B reg
1.3 everything standard
the auto choke doesnt work as normal
Had some welding done before in the rear and other places isnt to bad according to my dad.
just need a new wing on the passanger side as i think its safe to say its dead as when you open the door the panal flexes.
my 4th sj so 4th time lucky.

Ahhh, i did ask him his real name, he just said Chris.

Makes sense now. Canny chap too! Was great how he had all the bits i had forgotten to ask for or broke when i swapped that t/box.

Not too sure about his hair style though.

He'll keep you right Ollie.

Very productive 5 hours with Twiss. Nice to see another sj and a 1.6 with double cherry very nice. Basicly we went though all the mot stuff. But as soon as he turned up the F*cker didnt want to start so out came the start motor then back in bash bash bash got it going. Checked everything else best moment was when he said 'ahh this isnt too bad bit of work and it would get through an mot' until he looked at the passanger wing then wilst nabbing a few parts off the other sj , we decide to swap the passanger wings round. So i dont think this will be a very long project and most of it will involve twiss  Thanks mate :suzuki:

:doublethumbs: Well Done :doublethumbs:

I'm well impressed Ollie!

Sounds likes it's been a productive day for you. As for Twiss' Zuk, not a straight panel on it but it sounds mental!

It will be a long project. Cos' you'll get it MOT'd and road legal. Run it a bit, then think i'll change this, swap that. Then it'll be 10 years later and you'll still be modding this and swapping that.
