Hi, I have come to the conclusion that I need to lift my Vitara as the wheels are too big. I was given some poly spring spacers, just need to get front strut spacers and then job done. But was wondering which option is best. Suspension lift or body lift? I've heard that with a body lift you need to modify certain parts i.e. extending the gear levers etc. Can't see how I'm gunna go about that really, so any advice would be great,
Cheers Joe.

Re: Vitara body lift or spring spacers????
With a body lift it depends how high you want to go...1" won't affect anything. If you go higher the problems increase, you might need extended brake hoses, the gear levers will need cutting up to weld a bit in between. Suspension lift is the easiest as long as you don't exceed 1 3/4".
This might be total bollocks but I think I'm about right.
I'd go for the suspension lift...maybe with a 1" body lift thrown in.

If it ticks over...leave it
