talk me out of this idea please!
ive been offered four nearly new (still have the mould tags on the side walls) maxxis creepy crawler tyres for £500 BUT they are 37/12.5/15 im currently on 33/12.5/15 how much of a stupid idea will it be? SO tempting

Id leave it personally I think 37's look stupid on an sj - they only
Look good on tubed up sj personal taste to be honest choice is yours be aware that your diffs props halfshafts wont agree with them aswell as the transmission gearing.

You will need to run Toyota axles and do a lot of cutting and stretch the wheelbase to make it work well with 37s in my opinion, go too high with a short wheelbase and it will not be stable on climbs or descents as well as side slopes
You might get away with uprated Samurai axles if you run the right gearing in the diffs and don't drive with a lead foot but yota axles would be a better idea!
Maybe not this much of a stretch but you get the idea and these are 38s with a 26" wheelbase stretch, I think you'd want a minimum of a 10-12" stretch though.
